Petite Star Bubble with Children

This photoset shows the children in the Petite Star Bubble. The Petite Star Bubble is a unique stroller because it has a seat which both faces forwards and backwards, with a harness on both sides. It is incredibly easy to simply move the Bubble seat forward or backwards to suit, and the hood simply flips inside out to face the other direction.

The girl is aged 3.7 years old and tall for her age (91st centile, 102cms), and the boy is 22 months old (50th centile, 83.5cms).

Both children looked very comfortable in the Bubble seat unit. The Petite Star Bubble seat back is one of the tallest ones we have ever measured at 58cms high forward facing and 56cms high parent facing. Even our 3 year old was able to lie flat in the seat unit with room to spare. We were very surprised how well she fitted in the Bubble seats – even when rear facing. We loved that there is a very upright seating position which is great for an older toddler to see out, plus a lie flat position for a newborn baby, in both directions! There is also a slight recline setting too. The calf rest also lifts up which is great as it allows smaller children to lie completely flat.

The Petite Star Bubble can take a baby from birth to 15kgs and offers a parent facing option for a baby or younger child to be able to see and interact with their carer. When the child wishes to see the world around them, then it is easy to flip the seat, and let the child sit forward facing.

For families such as ours where there are siblings who may both use a pushchair at times (Mr BB often takes just one child to the shops with him), it means the front harness on the Bubble can be left set up for the eldest child, whilst the rear harness can be set up for the youngest child. Therefore there is no reason to have to adjust the harness to suit each child as you would do with a standard stroller, all we need to do is to flip the Bubble seat and hood over and we are ready to go!

One of the Best Buggy team noted that the Petite Star Bubble would be useful for when their toddler got tired: they could then remove the baby from the seat; put the baby in a sling; and then the toddler could hop in the front seat for the ride home. Thus only the Bubble would be needed during the short period of time where a child transitions from a pushchair to fully walking.

Please note that this Bubble is a sample pushchair and the final pushchair may have very slight differences.

Many thanks to Petite Star for their help in taking these photos.
