Cosatto Twin Stroller Bro/Sis Review by Kayleigh

Well I must admit when I first had to think about double buggies this was the one type of pushchair I didn’t want – I’m not a huge fan of strollers as I prefer seats with more comfort.  It was only after having a few doubles that I realised I needed something I could whip into and out of the boot for ease of use and when I saw this advertised locally at an excellent price I couldn’t not say yes (as well as fact it said bro/sis which was perfect for us!)

Firstly not only do you get a pushchair but you also get all the accessories included in the price – excellent if your on a budget but need to have the extra things.  It came with raincover, 2 fleece lined footmuffs which when you unzip leaves you with a nice seat liner, 2 head huggers and 2 sets of chest pads which are both excellent for smaller babies and the chest pads also great for older babies/toddlers and a bonus of 2 bottle holders which attach to the side of the pushchair so you don’t have to take up space in your changing bag.

The pushchair itself has actually taken me by surprise as considering I have a very heavy 2 yr old (35lb+) and and lightweight 6 month old I was a bit worried how it would push esp as my 1st double was the baby jogger city elite which i’m yet to find a buggy as nice as but it actually goes very well – I will admit over some surfaces like the supermarket or gravel it can become a bit difficult unless your going straight or lock the wheels as the front wheels can get a bit stuck but I found this same problem with my single stroller so think it’s something that comes from having small wheels.   The seats both lie virtually flat which is fantastic for newborns but they also work independantly so you can have one led down and the other fully sat up.  The leg adjusters are also handy for smaller children (and in my case from stopping my toddler putting his feet in the wheels when he has a tantrum!)  I also wish the seats were a bit wider but for a compact double pushchair system you can’t expect this really.  Another bonus is because it has the middle handle, if one of the children wants to walk thats fine as it can be pushed just like a single buggy.

We only use one footmuff – unfortunately my son is too long for his footmuff but they are excellent for the colder months as they have little pouches for their hands to be put into to keep them warm.  The headhuggers are great but they are quite small so wouldn’t last long but they last long enough until your baby develops good head control.

Overall I think it’s a really good buy – it’s a great option for people who use car/public transport as folds in seconds in umbrella folds and is light enough to pick up with one hand with child in the other and because it’s so easy getting into and out of the boot isn’t a problem plus it’s not much wider than a single stroller when folded.   You get everything included so your not having to worry about getting the extras and worrying if it fits plus it’s stylish (this design has got me alot of stares from people going ‘aww how cute a brother and sister’.  If your looking for something to go on longer walks esp off road then I don’t think this would really fit the bill unless very occsassionally but overall i’m quite impressed and would definitely recommend and I’d probably rate 8.5 out of 10 just because of the seat units being slightly on the small side and also because the footmuffs could be a bit longer but I have a larger toddler so they would probably fit the more average sized child.
