We usually push the hood up at the start of each outing and then it is fine. May I suggest you speak to your retailer or iCandy if your hood wont stay up. I love this pushchair but one issue I have is when I try to extend the height of the hood, it slides easily up the frame but will not stay in place & ends up sliding down to the original position.
