Uppababy Vista with Rumble Seat Review by Lou

I have the Uppababy Vista with Rumble Seat. I use it for the nursery run for my 3 year old and 1 year old. It is perfect because when I drop off my daughter at nursery, I stop and click off the Rumble Seat, and it fits in the basket for the journey home!!!
That means I am effectively only pushing a single pushchair. The huge basket means that I can still fit my changing bag, coats, hats, jumpers my daughters’ backpack, toys, her scooter and about 1 bag of shopping in it, WITH the Rumble Seat on top.

The Rumble seat on the Vista is amazing.

The Vista itself pushes brilliantly. The fabrics are brilliant quality. I particularly love the hood as its sooo thick it and protects my son from wind and cold. He looks so snug in there, but the hood also has a huge peekaboo mesh window so during the summer you lift the window up and get a good breeze.

I like to have my son facing me in single mode, and then the children facing each other when the rumble seat is on. Often my daughter will scoot half way to or from nursery, and then jump in the rumble for the rest of the journey or may walk a bit too. I don’t mind as I don’t have to carry everything or be walking with a double when I don’t need to!

However, the Rumble Seat simply will not work if your older child still needs to nap. My 3 year old fell asleep in it once but she flopped to the side. I had to prop her up with jumpers! A slight recline would be a massive improvement, but I hear the new UK Rumble seat will be even more upright than the US one which I currently own!!!!
