Hauck Jeep Shopper Travel System 6 Review by Vicky

Hi all,

We bought this buggy last May (2010) from a market stall (it was brand new at the time). The price was reduced from the RRP and we got it for £120 which I thought was fab!

I love the masculine khaki colour (we have a boy) and it looks sturdy and stable. All the accessories are really good- The bag is plenty big enough for everything you need, it has a rain cover, sun umbrella, cosytoes, car seat…all the usual stuff.

On the whole I’ve been happy with it but wouldn’t necessarily call it a ‘shopper’! It’s decievingly large and shopping with it can be a pain, especially if you travel on buses. There’s plenty of space underneath the seat to put bags in but that’s all I would say is good for shopping.

It doesn’t fold down very small either, takes up quite a lot of room in the boot and we have a 7 seat Zafira and with all the seats up its impossible to fit it in the boot area (but maybe that’s a flaw with the car rather than the buggy!) so we had to purchase a smaller, more compact stroller for these occasions.

This buggy is perfect for strolling around in the park or going to pick the kids up from school, baby is comfy and can lie down or sit straight up if required. The cosytoes is lovely and warm and during winter baby looked so snug all wrapped up in there.

I’d give it 5/10 for practicality and 9/10 for comfort x
