B.O.B. Revolution PRO, Revolution C.E. and S.E. Duallie

Britax unveiled their new B.O.B. Revolution Pro at the Harrogate Nursery Fair this week.

The B.O.B. Revolution Pro has to be the ultimate in off road pushchairs. It has huge rear wheels with a hand operated drum brake, and a sturdy front lockable swivel wheel. Importantly, the B.O.B. Revolution Pro is the ONLY pushchair with a front swivel wheel which has been certified in the UK as being safe to run or skate with. This makes for amazing manoeuverability whilst travelling at speed.
The B.O.B. Revolution Pro has also been certified by the TÜV which is one of the toughest safety tests that there is.

The large 16″ pneumatic rear wheels pop off very simply. Our photos show how the drum brake works underneath – this was so exciting that Little Miss BB made sure she got a photo too. The pushchairs which we have had previously with handbrakes have all had disc brakes. The front wheel has sealed cartridge ball bearings and a locking pin like the B.O.B. Revolution CE which we reviewed last year. There is also a wrist strap and rear parking brake,

There is a large hood which can be operated using a toggle. The hood has a large clear window through which the child can be easily seen.
The huge seat has excellent leg room and two useful storage pockets for drinks or toys. There is also a pocket in the rear of the seat. Coil spring and elastomer core shock absorbers give the child a comfy ride wherever you go. We love how adjustable the suspension is on the B.O.B. pushchairs. There is also adjustable tracking on the front wheel.
The seat is certified to hold a child up to 17kgs.

We love the new adjustable handlebar which extends from 85-117cms. This should make the Revolution Pro comfy for anyone to use no matter what their height.
The fold is easy, quick and neat – quite amazing for a stroller which seems quite large. Removing the rear wheels would give a neater fold.

Not only is the B.O.B. Revolution Pro tough, stable and manoeuverable, it also looks fab! It has a powder black chassis with sleek, quality water resistant fabrics. It is absolutely a pushchair which you would be proud to be seen pushing.

We also saw the Revolution C.E. with a carrycot on, and the S.E. Duallie with the car seat bracket for a Britax infant carrier, and snack tray fitted. Thus the B.O.B. range can now be used from birth. The seat is suitable from 6 months old. There was a beautiful Warm & Fuzzy cosy toes on display too – it was so snuggly we all wanted one for ourselves!

The B.O.B. pushchairs really are fabulous pushchairs.
