Mee-Go Glide, Inspire & Pramette

We were really fortunate to have some quality time to chat to the Mee-Go team at the Nursery Buyers day in London.

Mee-Go are a favourite brand of ours to spend time with, because we love the whole ethos and passion of the company. Mee-Go have years of experience in the nursery industry. We love that Mee-Go is a family business, and that they really care about their products. Their enthusiasm is infectious. We love that they try their products out with their own child, and that they revisit their older products and improve them as new technologies come to the market.

Last Harrogate, we spotted the new Mee-Go Inspire, high up on a shelf. In London, we had the opportunity to have an up close look, at this sophisticated looking pushchair. The Mee-Go Inspire is the modern looking black and white pushchair in our photos. The seat can be forward facing, or reverse facing. We liked how the lower half of the pushchair seat wraps itself around the central stem when parent facing, so that you are nearer your child. Mee-Go are always great at giving you extras, and the Inspire comes with a split leg apron and seat pad to keep your child comfortable. There is clever storage on the Inspire. The underneath basket is small, but Pacapods would fit in quite nicely. There is a reasonably sized backpack which attaches onto the main stem. This would make a great changing bag. What amazed us, is how small the Inspire chassis packs away when folded, especially if the rear wheels are popped off. Placing the wheels into the storage basket when folded, keeps the Inspire as a neat package.
There is a matching carrycot with a mesh peekaboo window for ventilation in summer. We think the Inspire is a really great looking pushchair, that will catch a few eyes when it is out and about. The Inspire is only being sold in selected retailers, so you can be sure that you will stand out from the crowd.

The Mee-Go Glide (purple fabrics) is a more classic looking pushchair. It has a beautiful hand polished aluminium chassis, with strong, hard wearing fabrics. The triple ball bearing EVA wheels allow for excellent manoeuverability. The seat is a generous size, and so too is the basket. We liked the inbuilt SPF50 UV protection sun visor for sunny days. The fold is easy and intelligent, because the chassis can freestand with the handlebar well off the floor, thus avoiding damage to it. We are not fans of the harness (we have seen it on a number of other pushchairs), however, the issues we have with it, are resolved because Mee-Go have put a padded crotch pad over the buckle to keep the child comfortable.
The Glide package includes a carrycot which can be used for occasional overnight sleeping. We like how the carrycot adaptors are tucked underneath the carrycot, and can simply be folded out before attaching the carrycot to the chassis. The Glide also comes with a 0+ infant car seat, changing bag with mat, footmuff and a raincover. There is an Isofix base available as an optional extra. We love the finish of the fabrics – the smart looking central zip footmuff and the quilted changing bag. The Glide is an all round practical every day pushchair with a stylish finish and some smart attention to detail.

The Mee-Go Pramette (not pictured) was the first pushchair in the Mee-Go range. As with the other pushchairs, you get everything you will require included – the pushchair chassis; a reversible seat which converts into a pramette – a lie flat bed for a newborn; a changing bag with thermal pocket; a fleece lined footmuff with detachable top so that it can be used as a seat liner; an infant carrier; mattress and quilted cotton liner; raincover and your choice of colour pack. Additional colour packs are available to purchase to match your mood, outfit or for a new baby.

Thanks to Mee-Go for spending some time with us, and showing us their products.
