Babystyle Atom at the Harrogate Nursery Fair 2017

This is the new Babystyle Atom. The Atom is new for 2017 and is a small lightweight pushchair which would be great for travel, city life or small car boots!

The Atom is petite, but it is certainly sturdy, as Ant from Babystyle proved when he jumped on board!
There is a lie flat recline, making the Atom suitable from birth. The seat forward faces only. At the rear of the seat, the fabric can be easily undone to reveal a mesh panel for ventilation or for you or your little one to see each other. The hood is large and extends forwards another panel by unzipping the central section. There is a 5 point harness, but there is also a small T bar for a child to hold onto. This easily folds flat for easy access in and out of the buggy. At the front is a lift up calf rest for extra leg support for babies.

The Atom basket is a good size for a small stroller, and with good access at the front and rear. The brake is a step on, step off one, and there are lockable swivel wheels at the front.

The fold can be done one handed, with practice. On the handlebar there is a large button, but at one side of this main button, is a smaller button which needs pressing in to release the fold. The Babystyle Atom can freestand when folded in a very neat package. Ant measured the fold as approx 57 x 36 x 52cms. The seat back is aprox 46cm and the seat width at the front is approx 36cms.

We like the look and styling on the Atom. The silver centre on the joint where the pushchair folds is a smart touch.

The Babystyle Atom will retail for around £199.
