Micralite at the Harrogate Nursery Fair 2019

It was fantastic to see how Micralite have developed under their new owners, Silver Cross. We loved Micralite and have owned all of their pushchairs at some point, but we were delighted to see the new weatherproof but premium fabrics and styling on these classic pushchairs. We were extremely pleased to see that the Micralite handle has been developed and altered to be more robust. The handle now forms a circle, which can be adjusted to suit. This makes it more robust. The Micralite Twofold was always one of the most fun pushchairs we every tested, and we are so pleased to see it back on the market again.
The wheels are air tyres but they are lined with Kevlar to make them puncture free! How awesome to have the benefits of pneumatic tyres but without the worry of punctures.

Micralite were also showing the new Profold stroller for city dwellers. The Profold is super compact with great all wheel suspension. At 7kg it is light and is has a very quick and easy fold down one handed into a neat package – great for public transport and for storage.

We also loved the new Micralite rucksack DayPak changing bags. They have been well thought out with a pocket for a changing mat and places for other bits and pieces. The fabrics look very smart too. We love how they attach to a pushchair too. We have put one on our wish list for 2019.

All the Micralite pushchairs come with a 3 year guarantee.

Just a final note, we were disappointed that Silver Cross didn’t show any of their own brand pushchairs and prams at Harrogate. Instead they were showcasing their new range of car seats.
