Best Buggy & The Buffalo Meets Bugaboo in Leeds

Best Buggy met Bugaboo at Malmaison in Leeds, for a get together to see their latest products, and for an opportunity for us, and other local writers to get hands on with some of their latest and newest products.

Master BB got his first outing in his new wheels – a Bugaboo Buffalo. It was lovely to push, and had plenty of space both for our 3 year 2 month old, and also all our bags and bits & pieces.

It was lovely to see Bugaboo PR. They had brought a Bugaboo Bee and a Bugaboo Buffalo with them. They had also brought some of the Pendleton Special Edition fabrics – the Rob Roy and the Spirit of the People’s sets; and the latest Andy Warhol Happy Bugs sun canopy for the Bee. It was good to get close up to these. We loved how the Happy Bugs set has the bugs inside the sun canopy, as well as outside. The Pendleton matching blankets look great as a set with the sun canopies and carrycot apron. We loved the Happy Bugs baby cocoon for the Bee.

Bugaboo have just launched their new range of 100% Merino wool blankets and wool seat liner which were very soft and fine. It was clear these are top quality fabrics. The blankets are easy care, machine washable and can be tumble dried. The blankets are suitable for use all year round, and they will help regulate the temperature of a child.
The seat liner has a new wool pile on one side, and a grey melange knitted cotton jersey on the other side. Both are natural materials which will help regulate the temperature of a child. The liner is beautfiully soft and luxurious.
The liners and blankets each retail at £89.95.

We were very interested in the High Performance Footmuff which has a choice of detachable zip on tops depending on the weather: there is super warm duck down one for winter, and a polyester padded one for spring and autumn. It fitted easily onto our Buffalo through the super easy access slits at the rear of the footmuff and were were surprised how much room there was for our 3 year old inside. We liked the dirt shield inside for little shoes! We were very impressed and would like now to get one for our Buffalo. These footmuffs come in grey, black or red.

We also got the opportunity to look at the unusual but very stylish Bugaboo changing bag. We loved the bright red interior and the 14 pockets including an insulated bottle holder, and a compartment at the bottom which would keep, for example, wet items enclosed completely away from the rest of the bag. There are zippers at the top and side, which facilitated easy access to all areas of the bag. There is even a special padded pocket for your ipad! The bag retails at £89.95 and feels good quality.

Bugaboo were very welcoming to all the children present, and kept them entertained with balloons, colouring, drinks and sweets whilst the adults got hands on with the products. We all left with a fab Bugaboo goodie bag, after having had plenty of opportunity to look and ask questions.

Thank you very much to Alice and Julie from Bugaboo for being so welcoming and helpful. We had a fab morning!
