Mountain Buggy Swift

Description:

The Mountain Buggy Swift has a narrow, lightweight but strong frame. The three 10"inch air tyres makes the Swift ultra manoeuverable about town, but great off road too. The Swift is suitable from birth with a lie flat seat, carrycot and car seat options. The Mountain Buggy Swift is great for toddlers too. This compact pushchair will go almost anywhere you want to go - about town or off road. The 2015 model has a more compact one handed fold, new harness buckle and a handbrake.

Pros:

A neat off road pushchair. Simple but good looking. Narrow and lightweight. Built to withstand rough terrain. One handed fold. Freestands when folded. Good basket. Carrycot Plus and car seat options. Mountain Buggy Terrain

Description:

The Petite Star / NJOY UP Bubble is an ingeniously designed umbrella fold buggy. The seat unit has two sides to it and can be easily and quickly flipped from one direction to the other, thus enabling a child to sit forward facing or rearward facing. This unique concept appears to have been well thought out and is easy to use and convert - there is no need to remove hoods, seats or harnesses. Simply push the seat back and flip the hood to the other side! Having a choice of direction in an umbrella fold stroller is quite brilliant!
*Note* The Bubble was resdesigned for Baby Jogger as the Vue in 2014

Pros:

A child can face forwards or parent face easily. The Bubble takes literally 2 seconds to flip the seat and convert. The Bubble folds with the seat facing in either direction into a compact umbrella fold. There is a shopping basket. The hood has a hidden extendable panel for sunny days. All round this is an ingenious design!

Cons:

Small basket. Long when folded. Difficult to push with one hand.

Description:

The Taga is a brilliantly designed bike which can carry one or two children, in front of the adult rider. It is a fun way to explore the countryside whilst being able to easily chat and see your child(ren). However the Taga boasts a secret: it also converts into a single or tandem pushchair! It is easy to ride up to your destination, convert the bike into a pushchair and simply walk into your destination! There is no need to leave your bike outside, and the children are still safe in their seats.

Pros:

A really lovely way to bike with children. Having the child(ren) in front means that the adult can easily see and interact with them. A baby can be carried in a Maxi Cosi car seat, but also can be carried sooner in the main seat than in a say another bike seat. There is less worry about the child being hit from behind by a car as with a trailer. The easy conversion into a pushchair in approx 20 seconds makes it easy to nip to the shops without needing to take a pushchair as well. A very well designed bike / pushchair that works well and easily, and is a lot of fun. There are also options for carrying groceries. Eco friendly transport!

Cons:

The children need lifting off to do the bike conversion. The seat units do have a stand at the rear but an older child can be heavy. There is no hood for the second seat. The second seat is smaller and space between the seats is restricted. Only 3 gears means that the Taga can be a sluggish ride at times. The Taga feels quite large in pushchair mode, and is best stored (ie smallest) in pushchair mode, which means converting the Taga to store if space is an issue. The weight limits for the children are different in bike mode to in pushchair mode.
