Silver Cross 3D Review by Katie

My silver cross 3d was the first pushchair I had courtesy of the parents. My mum had convinced me silver cross were the best so took her advice seen as she was paying for it!

In pram mode it is lovely for a newborn. Well protected to the elements, very comfortable and the security of a crotch strap. I do find it looks strange in the warmer weather as the apron comes off and you just look at the white insert (unless I were doing something wrong?)
Also my son was only in pram mode for five months as he was a big baby so into pushchair mode it went. I couldn’t bear not seeing him with it only being forward facing (so I bought a different pram)

On the occasional times I did use it in guilt for my parents paying for it I found the following.

The actual seat is really cosy for baby, hood gives fair bit of sun protection.
Belly bar is a good leverage point for nosey babies.
Folding and unfolding easy. It’s quite long for an umbrella fold.
I didn’t find the shopping basket much good to be honest. It was difficult to get to and there was no way I could get a change bag or much shopping in unless I undone all the poppers then back up again. With a queue of people behind you in a shop not the best!
Steering was good but not one handed. I’d give it a go but in the end I think it made the frame a bit rickety. This is not an off road pram either.

As a package it’s good as it comes with alot of extras. Cosytoe, head cushion, pram apron, raincover, and change bag.

If you want a more traditional looking pram with a modern twist it’s worth a look. They always seem to do quite good deals too.
