UPPAbaby Vista 2015 with Rumble Seat

These are a few quick photos of the new 2015 UPPAbaby Vista with the new Rumble Seat and carrycot.
Apologies for the poor quality of these but we were taking them during a demo at the London Nursery Press and Key Buyers Day.

The UPPAbaby Vista starts out as a single pushchair. In the box is the pushchair chassis, seat unit, carrycot, 2 sets of raincovers (carrycot and pushchair), sunshades (carrycot and pushchair), insect nets (carrycot and pushchair) and a set of Maxi Cosi / Be Safe adaptors. This all costs £699.99 which is great value for money.

The seat is suitable from 6 months old, and it is reversible, so that the child can both parent and forward face. The UPPAbaby Vista has THE MOST ENORMOUS basket!! It is absolutely huge.

The UPPAbaby Vista can become a double pushchair, just for the price of one set of adaptors – £40!
The toddler will continue to use their familiar seat unit, whilst the new baby can reuse the carrycot (ideally with a new mattress) for the first six months. There is a photo here of the vented base of the carrycot which makes it suitable for overnight sleeping.

For many parents, this will get them over the age gap hump, and the toddler may well be a more confident walker by the time the baby is ready to move from the carrycot. If the toddler still needs a seat, then a second seat can be bought for the baby for £174.99 (with second seat adaptors). We like that the Rumble Seat can now be bought in a colour to match the first seat (or even to contrast with it). The Rumble Seat is slightly different to the main seat unit – most noticeably there is no adjustable footrest. However, it does have now three recline positions. The main seat has an amazing six recline positions! Awesome!

If you have twins, then the carrycots are both exactly the same size. An extra carrycot will cost £164.99. The UPPAbaby Vista can take one or two car seats as well. Adding a piggyback board makes a great triple stroller option for three children.

We were a little sad that our favourite position – having the children facing each other – is no longer possible. However overall the seating positions are far superior to the old Vista with Rumble seat, especially having a recline on the Rumble seat.

The photos are not great, but the different adaptors can be seen in some of the last photos. The UPPAbaby Vista can be folded with the adaptors left in situ.

We only had a quick play with the new UPPAbaby Vista and Rumble Seat but it looks really amazing. We have one due here at BBHQ very soon, so we can’t wait to have a closer look.

With many thanks to UPPAbaby for their time and for the demo of the Vista.
